In case you havent tried it yet, Crysis 1 is a better Far Cry 1. It replaces the mutans with aliens and you have a badass nanosuit and a lot of things stay the same. But weapons and movement feels much more solid than FC1, and hell, I don't even like Crysis all that much.

Haha I remember that game. For me, the far cry that i liked most were far cry 2, far cry 3, and instincts predator. Far cry 2 took place in Africa, and some people say it is very repetitive, and I agree, but the map editor is better than far cry 3's map editor. The mechanics are overall better than far cry 3. Also, the multiplayer was original. Having first played the Far Cry demo back in pre-release I was very unimpressed due to poor optimization and clunky AI. After having put the full version around the track a few times, I am glad to say that there has been a verifiable improvement.
